My first blog award

I have been very remiss in not acknowledging this award. Anyone would think I wasn't thrilled. Truth is, I was absolutely delighted when my friend Rob sent me this award. I was just so busy getting ready for stamp camp and I haven't had a chance to blog until today.
Here are the rules (or guidelines, as I prefer to think of them):
1. Put the logo on your blog
2. Link to the person who nominated you.
3. Nominate seven blogs you love to read
4. Link to those blogs
5. Let those bloggers know with a comment that they've been nominated.
Some of my favorite blogs are already on my sidebar so I am going to find you some new ones to visit. Make sure you visit Rob's blog because she produces beautiful work which always inspires me despite the problems she has had with her vision lately.

Firstly, a non crafting blog. This woman can write. And her life is so different to mine and her sense of humour is great and I love how she adores her husband. I think I'm gushing. Check out the Pioneer woman yourself and see what I mean.
Another good writer who makes me laugh is The creative Junkie.
Carol is in a chunky book group with me. I love what she does with the cuttlebug. She takes it beyond the usual uses.
Louisa is a friend and an artist. She has her own artistic voice which I admire. She encourages teenagers to find their voices as well when she works as an art teacher.
She doesn't post very often but when she does, Kate Palmer's blog is worth reading. I like her style and she gives good instructions as well. Post more often Kate.
Liz Aitken is on a few groups with me. Love her style.
