Torso

Last month's mixed media swap on Paperarts was an altered Torso. They were a bit hard to come by so not many participated but I had a go. In the end I was quite pleased with her but she took a while to let me know she was ready.
I layered stamped tissue onto the form with gel medium and the stamped and embossed the corset onto marbled black paper. I then used washes of Golden Quin Nicle Azo gold and a tiny ammount of purple with some gold mica powder thrown in.
The wings are the grunge board wings put through the cuttlebug with some german scrap. Thanks Linda B for the tip of using spanish copper Rub and Buff on gold german scrap. It's delicious.
I really laced the corset with eyelets and gold thread. Treasure gold here and there and she was done. She now lives in Wagga Wagga.
I need to post about our Jenny Crossley weekend but I need to take some photos in the daylight first.
