A blog award

Thanks to the lovely Bevlea from Creative soul retreat for a blog award. I am not one to receive many of these so it is lovely when someone has noticed your stuff.
The guidelines are "These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to be friends. They are not interested in self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these kind writers."

I must say that the retreat has given me contact with some beautiful women with whom I hope to continue friendships in the future. They are all listed on my side bar and each and every one of them has lovely eye candy on their blogs.
So I am going to introduce some other friends who are special to me in their own way.

The Warmth of sunlight is a young woman very close to me and she is developing a quirky style of writing that I am enjoying very much.

Anne Spiteri is a dear friend of mine for nearly 20 years. It is fun to also share the blogging world with her.

Rob Keogh is another dear friend who has faced some extraordinary hardships in the last two years including having multiple operations to save her eye sight and then losing half of her house in an electrical fire. I have so much respect for her and I believe she is due to receive a little kindness.

Annette Husband is a very talented Australian artist who I have not met personally but love reading her blog. She lives in the middle of the Australian outback and produces the most wonderful work.

Rachel Bland is in a group with me. She lives in the UK and is quite prolific. I love the ethereal quality of her work and her use of colour.
